KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure that all applicable standard operating procedures (SOP) and standards of conduct are adhered to • Promote an atmosphere of continual improvement by working collaboratively with all Phillips Plastics people • Assist in Installation and maintenance of IT related systems, utilizing existing support contracts, and in full partnership with corporate and division IT resources • Assist in managing Novell user accounts including moves/adds/changes • Provide Help Desk telephone support on an as needed basis while entering and maintaining up-to-date status information on Help Desk tickets • De-install PC’s taken out of service and dispose of in the correct manner • Move and install IP phones and analog devices as needed • Add, delete, and archive email and Novell accounts as needed • Assist in creation and/or modification of computer images. Load/re-load images on systems as needed • Work on programming tasks • Keep work area clean • Report incidents and injuries to team leader/manager immediately • Recognize close-call incidents and safety hazards and take action to eliminate them • Use equipment properly and follow the safety features/operating procedures

The Career Fair held on August 19th brought 12 businesses to Globe and over 50 student attendees. This was a great opportunity for business owners and students to meet each other and talk about future employment.

research sites, the UnderWeb, counseling, networking, self-assessment tools, niche sites. Berkeley: Ten Speed Press.

The great thing about this book is that its authors don’t just dole out job hunting advice; rather, they list specific, concrete websites you can use to really act on your job search.  The book offers links for everything from job postings to resume assistance to regional job boards to networking communities.  There are separate sections that focus specifically on the job hunt for minorities, women, people with disabilities, and ex-offenders.  The authors go beyond merely listing supersites like Monster.com and CareerBuilder.com and give the reader links to the lesser known sites that many companies are now turning to.  This book would be a valuable tool for anyone on the job hunt.
