16yr old male beaten to death!
This makes ME want to have the “Eye for an Eye Law” !
I’m pretty sure that everyone has read or heard about Derrion Albert who was 16 years old and beaten to death. He was a sophomore at Christian Fenger Academy High School and got into a fight with three other boys who punched, kicked and stomped him until he stopped moving.
Reading stories like this makes you wonder more and more about the world we live in today. I would honestly have to say that males growing up today have it very rough and hard. Males have to prove there man hood and how tough they are by standing up to everyone including teachers, bully’s and even the police. As a parent I would say that he should of got help or ran away from the fight but, was that really possible? That links back to one of my recent blogs of the girl who was jumped by two other girls when getting off the bus, Did she try to run away, and now was later cornered? When a male runs from a fight he is then known as a punk and of course now we can all say “Being a punk is better than being dead” but, have you ever been placed in a situation like that? I don’t want to down size Chicago but, If you have never lived in Chicago, then you will never really know.
