Vet Tech Club Update

The 2010-2011 FAFSA is now available online! Go to www.fafsa.gov to complete the next year’s FAFSA and also complete the School Form that has been recently mailed to you. Once completed, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a chance to win $250 off books for the Spring quarter as well as a chance to win many other prizes and gift certificates.
Don’t use Financial Aid? Just complete the 2010-2011 School Form and you will also be entered into the drawing.
Deadline to enter into the drawing is March 20th, 2010. Good luck to everyone!
Do you like Blogging, Facebook, Twitter, etc.?
Globe University / Minnesota School of Business is looking for student interns who will regularly update social networking platforms such as blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc. about life at Globe University/Minnesota school of Business.
Each intern will have a choice between $20 for three posts per week or a free iPhone to use for his/her updates. If an intern chooses the iPhone, he or she can keep it after the internship is over! (Interns have to pay for the service after the internship is over, though. They also have the option of giving back the iPhone if they don’t want to pay for service.)
At Globe University / Minnesota School of Business, we are always looking to build strong bonds within the many communities in our system of schools. Social networking platforms give us another way to do this, and we want our students involved.
This is the kind of thing that looks great on a resume, by the way. Companies of all kinds are looking for people with experience in social media.
Qualifications
-Dynamic, sociable individual
-Early adopter of and enthusiast for social media: blogs, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc.
-Skilled builder of relationships and networks spanning many groups of people – comfortable with being a “hub” of a large and varied social network
-Strong writing skills
Responsibilities
-Attending GU/MSB events and other events and reporting on them via blogs, Twitter, etc.
-Building networks within social media platform(s) that connect students throughout GU/MSB campuses.
-Devoting 10-15 hours per week to the above
N.B.: This internship does not fulfill requirements for degrees. It is open to students at all levels of degree completion.
