Bags for Books
The City of Moorhead and would like to offer an incentive to college students to get out and sandbag this week. If you show your student ID, you will be given a voucher to bring back to Student Services that is good for $10.00 off your books for Spring quarter for every 2 hours you donate.
According to the Valley News Live web site, Moorhead has only filled 57,000 sandbags. While this seems like a lot, their goal is 300,000.

Sunday, 12 noon-7 p.m.
Do not forget that your sandbagging efforts will also qualify you to apply for the Community Service Scholarship!
