Do you have computer equipment you no longer use? Don’t throw it away… Donate it! SS103: Global Citizenship’s Operation Do-Something Fair is coming up! This particular group is looking for all that old, unused, computer equipment that you have collecting dust in a closet at home.. Help them out!
All donations will go to “PC’s for People,” a local non-profit organization that provides refurbished computers to low-income families.

Once again… You all are awesome! Special thanks to everyone who helped make our Silent Auction a success! The money raised is going to the Breault family, the family of a MSB student who recently lost their daughter in a tragic car accident. The total amount raised here at Blaine Campus, including all auction items and cash donations, is 698.40. With our efforts matched by Globe Education Network we donated a grand total of $1396.80! Great job and thanks again for your efforts! You made a difference!

The MSB Blaine campus chapter of DEX returned from the St. Cloud Invitational with some hardware! Brianne Nelson, Dianna Berg and Carol Aaser all participated in the Business Ethics/Law team competition. Brianne and Dianna placed third in Group 2 and Carol and her partner placed third in Group 1. Congratulations on your success during your first DEX competition.
DEX Clothing/Blanket Drive started today, Monday, January 25th. Feel free to donate any new, or gently used, clothing, coats, boots, blankets, etc to the DEX Clothing Drive box in the Student Commons.

Haiti Awareness Week is this week at MSB Blaine Campus. Stop by the front desk to pick up a flyer with information on ways to get involved. Or, you can buy a ribbon at the front desk. $5 for a Red Ribbon and $1 for a Blue Ribbon. All proceeds will go towards the Haiti relief effort. Thank you in advance to all who participate.

Our student chapter of DEX is growing in numbers and becoming more involved each day! Wish them luck this week as they head up to St. Cloud for their business competitions. This weeks competition will help prepare them for the State Competition in Mankato in February. Good luck Blaine DEX!
Also, keep an eye out for the DEX Clothing/Blanket Drive starting next week. DEX will be collecting new/gently used clothes, blankets, boots, hats, mittens, etc from January 25th- February 4th.

Thanks to everyone who supported the Blaine MDA lockup event! Diana Igo, Campus Director, got hauled off this morning at 9 to the lockup event, and came back around 11:30 with some great news… Because of your generosity we raised $1021 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association! Again, thanks to everyone, staff and students, who made donations!
